ABOUT US
It all started with a conversation between friends, veterans and patriots from the diaspora, who shared their love, dreams and concerns for their beloved Homeland, Croatia.
They had a simple idea, to unite all Croatians who love God and their Homeland from all over the world. Imagine strength and synergy and much needed unity! Imagine the huge positive impact we could have spiritually, socially and economically!
We are now working on many ideas and initiatives
First things first. We wanted to pay tribute to those who are already doing and have done great things for our Homeland, especially those who have given so much during their lives and are now getting older. We will not let them go unnoticed, let alone not honour them before they leave us. This is how the Cardinal Stepinac Award was born.
For now, the Cardinal Stepinac Award, is for the lifetime achievement of Croats in the diaspora. For the fourth year in a row, a bronze statue of Cardinal Stepinac is awarded. The statues were made by the academic sculptor Zoran Juric, while they were cast in the recognized Ujevic Art Foundry. Soon we would like to expand the award

Our group is growing slowly, with the aim of making the award heard in all parts of the world where Croats live. Blessed Alojzije Stepinac, who is our inspiration and an example of how to love God and our Homeland, Croatia, for which he died a martyr’s death.
We hope that many Croats will return from emigration and join the veterans and other patriots in building a better Croatia in which we would all love to live! Especially for our youth, our children and future generations.
Without the brave Croatian veterans who defended our Homeland in the trenches on the front line. And great material support from Croatians in the diaspora, we would not have our Homeland. This synergy of Croatian emigration and veterans must be revived.
Most faithful intercessor on the barricade stay, keep safe our holy faith and the homeland of Croatia!
